BILL CLINE
Bill Cline moved to Clark County in 1972 with his family as a freshman
at Washougal High School. Graduating in 1976, Bill worked several jobs
in the area until 1979 when he joined the fire service.
On January 1, 2008, after serving the public for 29 years
and attaining the rank of Assistant Chief, Bill retired from the
fire service and went to work for the Fred Meyer Corporation. Currently
he works as a Baker in the Grand Central Fred Meyer store.
Bill remains active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors
for the Northeast Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association, participating in
the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and as a member of
the staging crew for the Hazel Dell Parade of Bands.
Bill and his wife of 27 years, Mary, live in a remodeled farm house in
Hazel Dell. They have three grown sons, four dogs and four cats. He
spends his free time working in his yard, gardening, and enjoys writing
as a hobby.
